Exercising relagurly makes you strong and allows you to have fun and enjoy an active lifestyle.
7 Easy Steps to Get & Stay Fit:
1. Commit to exercising 6 days per week.
2. Designate 1 day per week as your Rest Day.
3. Start by walking/jogging 1/4 mile per day.
4. Work your way up to 4 times per day with at least 2 hours between your 1/4-mile walk/jogs.
Now you're walking 1 mile per day!
5. Add some exercises at the end of each of your 1/4-mile walk/jogs,
such as: 30 squats, 20 leg-raises, and 10 push-ups.
6. Log your exercise sessions (0-4) on a calendar. (Increase as tolerated.)
7. Track your progress by participating in our Free & Fun Fitness Trainings once a month using
a Booklet that you can get through any of our Co-Sponsoring Organizations.
Bonus:
Plan a fun, out-door activity with your family and friends at least once a month. Go for a walk, hike, bicycle ride, or swim, or play a game or sport, etc. Do it again, and invite others to join you. You're always welcome to participate in the open Recreational Activities hosted by our Co-Sponsors linked below.
